Flight operations 2026 - adjustment of IFR operating times
Dear customers,
Due to the current understaffing of tower personnel, we have had to make adjustments to our flight operations in order to maintain air traffic control. This mainly affects IFR flight operations on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays since February 2025. On these days, operations will only be ensured under VFR conditions with an air traffic controller. Air traffic control and therefore full IFR operations are therefore not possible.
On weekends and public holidays, we have therefore adjusted our operations during our normal opening hours as follows:
Attention: Reduced fire protection / RFFS-CAT on March 30th and April 3rd, 2026
Due to illness, we are forced to lower the fire protection category on these two days at the specified times:
RFFS CAT downgraded to CAT 2 only
| Date | Time (UTC) |

| 30.03.26: | 13.30 - 1800 UTC |

Hint: Cat 2: 9m < aircraft length ≤ 12m, fuselage Ø < 2m (normally aircraft up to 2 to MTOW)
